WRX or STi?
I believe both have different pressures, you should adhere to what the manufacturer recommends (it will be on the door frame/inside frame) but thats your starting point.

I got an RB5 and found that 34 front and 30 rear was the best for my set-up. I know yours in a little heavier, so why not try that to start with. I also found that 1 PSi can / does make a difference with regard to understeer, etc
Thanks Phill

I've found that with Eagle F1's its best to run them a bit harder to stop the sidewalls flexing too much. Running 36f 34r at the moment, tyres are wearing flat and handling is ok.

'03 WRX 5-dr with Prodrive springs, rear ARB upgrade and F1's in 215/45 XL.
34/32 for me at the moment. I've run them a little higher at times but this seems about right for me this time of year with these tyres.
I agree with comments that 1psi really can feel different! - and I also think it matters at what temperature you set the pressures. Do it early on a cold morning and by lunchtime when it's 10 degrees warmer they bounce around a fair bit, so I set them (obviously when the car's been standing a few hours) a little later in the day. Door pillar on mine says 33.5/32. Start there and tweak to suit I reckon, with a decent gauge of course. Too soft and they feel vague and a bit wandery, too hard and they're bouncy at the back and twitchy. I usually have a few kilos of luggage in the back.
I check mine weekly as they tend to lose a bit.
