EBC yellow stuff.... after 300miles

Default EBC yellow stuff.... after 300miles

got some yellow stuff front and rear for my STI newage....

the pads sqeeks so bad after its warmed!!!! i thought they are suppose to be noise free???

but i must say the breaking power is alot better then i was expected... they are alot better than the red stuff and close if not better than the DS2500s

anyone know how to make them quiet??

did you use anti-squeal shims?

They should quieten down with more miles.

In a few extreme cases it has taken up to 1000 miles, but more typically, 500 to 700.

do i need to put some copper grease behind the pads?? will that help?

also will some hard braking make the noise go??

EBC pads comes with their own shims ???

Shims, black plastic stuck on the back of the pad.

How many miles have you done, being gentle with the brakes?

yes very gental braking for the first 200miles
