Toyo tyre pressures
Hey all,
Need some advice on tyre pressure please.
Going to europe at the end of the month in my00 classic, 4 up.
The tyres are Toyo proxi T1-S, size is 215-45-17.
Would be greatfull on some opinions.

seems a bit high for my liking
iirc subaru recomend 34 front 32 rear
i run mine 31/29 , , on track 23/21
it doesn't matter what make the tyres are . . but 215/45/17 are the wrong size for a my00
i use 215/40/17 or the other option is 205/45/17
try 33/31

For each 50kg or so add 1psi over the Subaru recommendations. A petite female will be IRO 50-60kg with a med to large male 80-100kg. Tyre make and size has nothing to do with pressures, it's all relative to the vehicle weight.
DAZZA, I am surprised that you actually reduce pressures on track and by such a significant amount. I usually go up from 34/32 to 44/42 on track. The excessive cornering forces combined with such low pressures must wear your tyres very quickly and risk pushing them off the rim.
