I've got some on my car . Gotta be honest mate i'm not impressed with them . Bite isn't brilliant and the brake fade is awful. Thats just my opinion though mate.

I have only just upgraded to 4 pots and had these pads with part of the deal so i suppose i'm not the best person to judge them against other pads. You really have to press the brake pedal hard to make them bite ,Which is a bit scary 4 me as i have an RA with no ABS so the last thing i wanna do is lock up. I was also disapointed with the brake fade after a few corners they seem to go to sleep. Perhaps i'm being too harsh. Someone will be along in a bit with their opinion.
Thanks
James

Not much dust and ok, but you have to stand on the pedal to get anything out of them. Wear rate is good but not convinced about the fade resistance as they don't seem any better than OE.

Go for the Yellow stuff
its rated as a trackday pads..
but the cold bite is excellent.. alot better then the reds.. and less/no fade
i'd say they are as good as the Ferodos DS2500s
but alot cheaper

If they're coming from ebay then make sure they are the new compound "ceramic" ones. I understand you can tell the latest as they have an abrasive wear in coating on them, if they don't have this then they're not the latest.
The older ones, which presumably are being quietly cleared out from various stock rooms (so quite likely to appear on flea bay?) were universally displiked for appalling life, days if track time involved, weeks otherwise. The new ones seem to get mixed reports, ranging from no better from some, not as good as yellows (then why advertise reds for Scoobies?) through to excellent.
Personally with £20k worth of performance car I'd steer clear of all EBC products and of anything brake related from ebay. If I wanted to save £50 then I'd do it somewhere else and not on brakes.

FWIW, i had a wheel bearing fall apart a few weeks back destroying my redstuff ceramics and a disc ![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
i fitted a new disc (was pretty new anyway, and got some standard pads to put in while i refurb my new set of 4 pot calipers, on the way home from work today along my fav stretch of short dual carrigeways joined by around 5 roundabouts, i gave the car some "beans" and was alarmed to find them faded after 2 roundabouts![EEK!](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/eek.gif)
the ceramics must be better then i remember TBH

A previous owner appears to have fitted red stuff front pads to my 53 wrx. Braking is good, but they're wearing down very fast, and the amount of brake dust is unbelievable! Won't be getting changed for EBC's again!!

I cannae believe the amount of ppl who go on about brake dust ffs! LOLz0rs.
Wash it off! At the end of the day, do they work? Do they work well? Do they fade? Who cares about brake dust.
I like having black wheels

had red pads for 13 thousand miles now imho there a good pad(allways stopped me) unless im heavy breaking on of on of for say 10 miles then they do fad, Ive just swapped my rear wheels to front and visversa to notice that there gonna need renewing over the next 2000 miles,

So to take the miles and heavy breaking into context please make your own mind up!

Hi just finished a track day with new red stuff pads and discs all round and they were excellent, the more abuse you gave them the better they seemed to get. They were the new ceramic ones and they still gave off loads of dust but as people say, who cares. Have done trackdays with red stuff pads and standard discs and they dont work anywhere near aswell so my advise would be change pads and discs and then you will get some serious stopping power.
