Unhappy Godspeed 308 mm Red Brembo - wear rate :(

Both discs of my Godspeed 308 mm Red Brembo kit are practically worn out after just 1.5 season, they've also developed hairline cracks where they bolt to the alu bell. The wear is also uneven, as the grooves aren't cut all the way to the edge of the discs, causing uneven wear of the brake pads and leaving deep wear grooves in the discs. Ferodo DS2500 pads, which isn't very abrasive. No brake fade problems.

Is this normal?!

Heavy track day usage and running on Toyo R888 tires, but I've seen people on Prodrive brakes running seson after season with no worries - same type of driving.

I am using the same kit and intending doing more track days. I have no problems with mine at present, but would expect to have major wear on discs and pads for heavy track use.

I had the same Godspeed kit on my previous car. Discs were not the best and had exactly the same problems you mentioned after about 5-6 months.

Where can I get quality replacement discs that fit to the bells? I do hope that the discs are manufactured to some industry standard?

Should have gone for the Prodrive kit after all...might still do

I would give Graham Goode Racing a call. I've bought discs off them and they've always been good. They sell plenty of stuff via eBay so give that a shot.
