Default abs warning light

what is this trying to tell me?! it has come on today

Faulty sensor probably. I changed one of my rears the other day. Straight forward job. I got a second hand one from Grade A for £25, Subaru wanted just shy of £200!! yes no misprint £200.

I had a similar problem, where tyre fitters managed to break the end off of one of the front sensors during a tyre change, cost £60 from Central subaru in the end.it can be bodged with a paperclip tied to the side of the sensor for a emergency repair so that the abs continues to work if the end has been snapped off. But it is for emergency use.

Might just be brake fluid level low as light warns of this as well.

You could first try cleaning it/them and checking the wiring for any damage.
