Goodyear Eagle F1 Quality Issues?
Hi,
Have been told that due to production relocation(s) and other assorted issues that the F1 tires produced over the past year (or so) have been giving people some headaches as far as durability and calibration goes.
Can anyone confirm if they have been having problems with the tires?
I have been a big user of F1s but have turned to other brands to spice up my life a bit (lmao) and have now been thinking of returning to Goodyear.
Thanks

I always ask to check new tyres before fitting to make sure they all come from the same place. Tyre place I go to tolerate this as a set of tyres for a Scoob is a lot of £££. If they were Made in China I think I might go elsewhere.

I seriously doubt the a company the size of good year would be making sub standard tyres. The equipment would be newer or the same as the European manufacturer.
Internet rumour is almost certainly the cause of this BS

Goodyear (one word) is like any other big multi-national company around.
There is some substantiation to the original post as some garages do not sell F1s due to these problems.
One of the problems is that some tires have been overweight and therefore had rolling problems.
Goodyear (yes one word) will outsource as much as it can.
Wait until the day you start buying Chinese made Foster's or even Marmite, it will suck!

See what? Just trying to help out, after all a search for tires instead of tyres might not yield much useful information to you, unless as stated above you're a Septic.
