Default Tyre Prices

Hello

I'm useless at this kind of thing (apparently!), what should I expect to pay for 255/40 ZR17's? I used to be able to bargain and get them for £80 ish, but it appears we are up to £140 a tyre for something like Bridgestone.

Thanks,

Steve

Depends on what you want Steve - a decent tyre, like the Goodyear F1 should be around £110. Do a search on Black Circles or My Tyres.

tell them you are paying cash, and what can they do on the price, or say i have been quoted x or y for cash.

Thanks for the replies. I didn't even know there was a Tyre forum!

I was looking at Dunlop and Bridgestone, both around £140 a tyre. I'll go and try (again!) to bargain.
