Default Pads for Prodrive / Alcon calipers

Can anyone recommend some replacement pads for the Prodrive calipers?

Also, bar Godspeed, does anyone else make replacement discs as an alternative to the Prodrive ones?

Cheers!

IIRC Mike Wood is adamant that the Prodrive pads are not DS2000/2500/3000.

BG Developments have made one off bells to use off the shelf AP discs with these calipers in the past. Give them a ring they've probably kept the drawings so should be able to do more.

Don't suppose you have a number for them do you?

I've replaced the pads with Ferodo 4003 ones which were supplied with the calipers, although they needed to be ground down as they had 3mm too much material each. Very impressive stopping power once they have a bit of warmth in them though

I'm going to need some very soon as my discs are pretty worn, so definitely up for it.

I've emailed BG Developments this morning asking if:

a) they can make the bells and at what cost
b) if they can supply the rotors and at what cost
c) if they can do a group discount and if so, how many are required

If anything comes of it, I'll post it in the Group Buy section if I have access to do so.

I've heard back from BG Developments now, and they're able to do the work. However, they either need the serial number from the previous time they did the work or a disc to copy. Unfortunately my discs are very much on the car and I can't do without them!

I'm not sure if there is anyone else who can supply the bells 'off the shelf' though

I would buy those discs but I've got misgivings about things that have been mentioned on other threads I've read and really can't afford to be left out of pocket. I also don't think Godspeed accept credit cards IIRC, so that potential safety net wouldn't be there.

Maybe if it was done as part of a group buy it'd be a bit safer?

Yes I seen those things you comented on , on the other thread , I was told the guy was lieing about sending a kit back and not getting his money back , he had no proof the kit was sent back , had no copies of any letter ect , so as far as I can see its crap , and unless he does come up with proof to back up his claims Godspeed are taking legal action agaist him.

They do take credit cards but its through paypal , so you do have a safety net if thats what you think you need.

I would email them direct if I was you , get first hand experience of him , I have no problems at all with the few times I have bought off them , and they will do group buys.

Don't suppose you happen to have Godspeed's email address do you I'll drop a line and see what sort of price they can do...

Oh, and can the Godspeed bells be used with AP replacement rotors or does it have to be Godspeed ones?

there email address is ian@godspeebrakes.co.uk , and yes the bolt pattern is the same as the AP 330mm discs so AP discs will also fit the bells
