I have a 6 month old MY06 spec d, and the front alloys are starting to bubble and blister along the spokes and all round the tyre valve, has anyone else seen this happen and would it be a warranty job or are wheels excluded?

seems a bit poor that they are going in 6 months! what will they be like in 2 yrs

I've got a few bubbles on 3 yr old PFF7s, only cosmetic but a little disappointing. At 6 months I'd have a warranty moan.

From previous threads I have seen, these seem to be covered under warranty. You have to tell them that you have never used any kind of cleaning product on them, as that may invalidate the warranty.

My 03 sti has corrosion on all wheels , my wife's 03 golf gti has PERFECT alloys with higher mileage.

It must be a common issue.

Might just be me,but it sems to be quite a common issue with most Jap wheels...

Defo covered under warranty though so no probs.
