Opinions for 2002 STI Brembo rear pads?
Looking to replace the rear pads soon on my 2002 STI 7.
Im running around 400bhp with a good set of AP Racing 6 pot calipers with 330mm discs on the front with Ferodo pads.
Can anyone suggest pads for the rears?
Would there be a great difference running standard pads on the rear compared to uprated ones, seeing im running such a good setup on the front?
I have seen EBC Red Stuff rears going for £35+vat and Ferodo DS2500 for £55+vat, can anyone beat that and offer comparisons between the different pads.
Dont want a pad that is gonna need ages to be warmed up as is for normal road use, fast road use, also dont want a pad that will not last long or wear really quickly.

The APs come with DS2500 pads so I'd suggest same in rear. I had same set up and it was fine on the road but I overheated the fronts on track and now have Pagid Blues in the front and DS2500 rear but contemplating going to blues at the back as well just to even things out but don't want to change too many things at once. DS2500 is disc friendly and has a long life and is fine from cold.

No £65+p&p is what Alyn charges. As it happens I have a new set of DS2500 for brembo rear (from Alyn) that I was going to use soon but have decided to order Pagid Blues instead. Have offered them to a friend locally for £45 but won't know until tonight if he wants them. Won't be back on SN till next Tues but leave me a PM if you're interested. Postage to NI shouldn't be too much.
