What tyres to get for normal everyday use
Hi guys
Banged a rear wheel whilst exiting a multi story last week, I'm guessing as I need to get some new tyres its probably worth getting my wheels re-aligned? is it worth getting both front and rear done? and whilst I'm asking what's the best tyres to get for everyday use? I'm not after the most expensive tyres so what's best for the money, are Pirellis worth getting?
Just encase you're wondering the wheel seems ok except for the scrape that goes all the way round the rim
could have been worse I guess it did make a rather loud bang when I hit it.
I have a UK 2000 MY99 by the way.
Cheers for any advice.

Just fitted 4 Pirelli P Zero Neros 215/45 R17 91Y Extra Load and have to say that whilst only done around 200 miles in them and they're still settling in I'm more than happy and very impressed.
The profile seems to be wider than the standard tyre and while I haven't tried them in wet conditions dry grip seems huge with good steering feel.

Since your life could depend on the small patch of rubber between your car and the road, I'd say get the best you can afford. Not worth scrimping on IMHO. Have a search on the forum, you'll find some useful links to external sites.
I've just got Goodyear F1s (XL) having had them on different car and am pleased.
