Speedline Chrono's and 4 pots
I have just fitted some of the above 17" wheels and am planning to fit some 4 pots
https://www.scoobynet.com/members-ga...additions.html
someone raised the question, will 4 pots fit under my new wheels?
Does anyone have these Speedlines and 4 pots on thier Classic?

I now understand I may need shims/spacers to get these wheels to clear the 4 pots.
Can anyone tell me how far the wheels need to come out to clear the calipers?
Please
After all the hard work I put into refurbing the wheels I am a little reluctant to have to put them up for sale, so if there is a way I can get these wheels to clear the calipers I would like to give it a try.

These wheels will not clear 4 pots... i had some and sold them for the later style ST2 for that very reason.
However there were some available in ET48mm, but they are like rocking horse sh*t and were not the normal offset for the Impreza. The offset will be written on the inside spoke of the wheel. If it is ET5*... they they will be miles of fitting in front of 4 pots. I measured a min of 7mm spaces.
Tony.

Hi lads.
Bought a set of Speedline Chronos (17in) to fit on my classic and i'm sorry to say if you've got 4 pots like i have you're gonna have to fit spacers.I've got 5mm floating spacers on mine and they just clear with enough threads left for you to bolt em on securely. What i would say that with these spacers on the turn in is awesome (probably more down to tyres) but the steering gives less feedback (vague) and it wanders slightly (tramlines).I'l be getting Eibach hubcentric spacers for £35 and hopefully this will improve things.

Thanks guys
I tried my Chronos on a mates car and it confirmed I would need the 5mm spacers. Not sure if I will run them with the spacers or just look at new rims.
I think I would be best looking at new rims but need to sell the chronos first as cant afford new wheels without selling but that then means I would have no wheels on my car for a while.
What to do?

LOL funny that, I have sold the 16" ones that the car came with. Didn't see the need to have 2 sets of wheels.
Havin no wheels on the scoob will not be a major issue as I have the megane that i normally use everyday, just means I cant drive the impreza til I get new rims.
