My discs do have arrows to show direction of rotation, so maybe have a look at your discs to see if they have the same.

The grooves are to clean the pads and prevent glazing. The direction doesn't matter much except that one way will direct dust towards the hub, and the other way will send it clear of the disc.
What is much more important is the direction of the turbo vent grooves if fitted (eg AP) which suck cooling air through the inside of the disc. AP has recently changed from straight to curved grooves so that cooling and cleaning are optimised, without compromising the internal strength of the disc itself.
If you have turbo cooling vanes (not all discs do) that's the important bit to get right. Should be clearly marked.
