![Question](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I'm looking for a set of tyres to stick on my spare whels that will be useful for the occasional track day. At half the price the tyres listed above are sorely tempting over the break-the-bank A048 and R888.
My decision boils down to the following question; are any of the above going to perform better in the dry than my current GSD3 F1's? If any are perceived to do so i'll consider fitting them but if not i'd be as well to go for the A048/R888. I'm very keen to hear the views of those who have tried any of the tyres listed including the F1's.
Car is a STi V4 running 17's on a 215/45 tyre. Stiff sidewalls are desired.

Ok just back from a little run out I live in the sticks and the trip is like a mini nurburg ring lots of 2nd and 3rd gear corners.
Only manage to get them warm an I mean only just warm, I'm knackered from holding on
I was pushing a bit and taking the pee on a few corners to provoke under steer
I'm very impressed, leave my Toyo T1R winter tyres in the dust, where the T1's would complain and start to under steer these things are like super glue.
Highly recommended from me........
FYI Running circa 400hp 360ft/lbs

You could consider buying my Parada Spec II's? 500 miles use? 210 ono
Very stiff sidewall and great in the dry.................I just replaced them with a set of R888's ( you know us expat drilling scum.......................rolling in money!) for some of this years "events".
Or I can sort you out with a nice set of R888's ? I have some spare sets in the garage now!

Mail us a price for the R888's Russ.
Thanks for your review funb0b, RS-2's are looking like the favourites at the moment although i'd be interested to hear from those who have tried the Kuhmos and Falkens?
