Brakepads for the Prodrive brakes
#1
I have a set of new brakepads for my Prodrive brakekit,...but I can't see what compound it is !
The partsnumber is : FDBP739S.4 P-F3 087
The old brakepads have the number PDB733S.4 F-F2 087 ,...and that was the DS2000 from Ferodo

I can't help directly, but I'll reply anyway
I'll phone one of the brake pad suppliers here in the UK (when they get back to work), and see if they have it listed.
If it was bought recently, then it could be DS2500, as they have recently become available for the Prodrive/Alcon caliper.

Sorry Theo - I've been off on holiday and only got back today. Seems like you found out they aren't what you were after
The DS3000's are still fantastic pads for the track though

Hi John,
I know the DS3000 are one of the best on track for the Prodrivekit,...but I don't do so often trackday's with the WRX,...I'm just enyoing a few laps on the Nurburgring in the summerseason and sporty driving on countryroads ,...and than the DS2500 (or DS2000) are just fine !
It's the diskwear and the aggressive brakedust when the brakes are used very hard with the DS3000 what's worrying me !
The DS3000 is developed for Motorsports,...and then the last tenth of a second is important !
...But (lucky me)I can swap the DS3000 for DS2000 or DS2500,...because they are unused and brandnew.
Big thanks to Prodrive !!
