Default Which brake pads/disks

I need to replace the all the disks and pads on my 2001 wrx, first of all i'm not really doing any track stuff, just road use, i'm a bit skint at the moment as well so i'm on a tight budget. I was thinking of ebc redstuff but i've read some bad stuff about them. So whats the best brake pads and disks and where's the cheapest place to get them from?

cheers.

Most people on here recommend calling Alyn at asperformance/astrading.

I've heard very good things about Mintex 1155 pads and they are a lot cheaper than Ferodo or Pagid, but create a lot of dust so you need to keep cleaning your wheels. In one test, it stopped the car quicker than anything, though.

If you want budget/ standard quality I don't think you can go wrong with Blue print disks and pads. Available from any proper motor factor - don't be afraid to ask for a discount!
