Hi Guys,

I have had my MY99 STI Type-R for a week now and I am getting the tuning bug. I am about to order a set of 17" Oz Superleggera's but have no idea what they look like on an Impreza. Could anyone out there please post me piccies of their Impreza with Superleggera's on so I can see what they look like. I have also heard some stories of these wheels buckling on our british roads, are they true?

Many thanks,

Craig.

Here's another - one of my favourite wheels. They really seem to suit the Scoob (old or new shape). Min are 18" in anthracite

Chris,

How come your wheels have only 10 spokes instead of the usual 12?

Bren,

I think I got just about the best deal out there. Most of the quotes I got for the 17" Superleggera's were for over £1000 (one quote was £1400). I found a company that sell them for £790 with tyres fitted and also balanced. The advert did not state which tyres it came with only that "they are fitted with quality tyres". I know it is a bit of a gamble but I am not really faithful to a particular tyre brand. If you wait a day or so I will post on this thread what tyres are fitted when they arrive. The company's website is www.potn.co.uk.

Cheers,

Craig.

Bren,
I've just received an email from www.potn.co.uk and they said that the Oz Superleggera's were out of stock at the moment, both them and the Oz importer. New stock will be arriving in 3-4 weeks so I'll just have to wait for them (and the Fuldas!!).

They are Falkens not Fuldas and for POTN to fit them with "215x40x17s Goodyear F1 - please add £30.00 a wheel (£120)".

Thatd take the price to £910

Who's the daddy!! LOL

I paid £141 per 17" OZ Super L pre vat, pre tyres in July last year ( from Tyres Northampton. 9K miles since then , usually enthusiastic miles, no problems with buckling.

Craig, don't know which Falkens they would be on about but if the ZE-502s spend the extra and get the F1s (or Toyo Proxes).

My wife has the Falkens on her Golf GTI and while they are good in the wet there is NO comparison to the SO2s I have had or the Toyos that I now have on the Scoob.

If they are the next model up (Falkens), my comments above won't necessarily apply
