what discs/pads choices do i have?

Default what discs/pads choices do i have?

Just brought a 03 reg wrx, it needs new discs/pads asap. What choices do I have without spending to much? Plus wheres a good place to buy from?

well to answer my own thread seeing as no1 else has from phoning round and spending all day on this forum it seems ferodo ds2500 pads are the 1s to go for and standard discs im told will be fine, well oem 1s from As Performance anyway ?

I would ask Alyn at AS Performance. A lot of folk use the DS 2500 yes, but after a chat with Alyn you may go for something else.
He will be supplying my next load of bits later this year anyway.

Scoobynet is quieter at the weekend as most people are away from work. As previously said, have a word with Alyn and chill.

Standard discs are fine with DS2500, but many favour Pagid Blue pads. A few quid extra spent on some braided lines and uprated DOT5.1 fluid would be wise too.

I would strongly recommend against EBC discs. Fitted them to mine, and i'm very dissapointed

spoke to As Performance yesterday, he certainly put me in my place when it comes to brakes seems to know his stuff! Iv used EBC alot in the past on previous cars with not good experiences so glad ppl are recommending something different for me to try
