Default Disc size for a 98 / Pads Impreza Sport

I'm thinking of replacing the Sports front discs and pads this weekend too.

But I am confused on the size of them? Are they 258mm , 260mm or 264mm?

Would a set of discs from a GX Sport (Newage) fit as a direct replacement?

Also does anyone know whats the best pads for it? I thought EBC Greens were for "Endurance"?

I can't seem to find a site that covers sports only 94- Turbos etc.

HI
Your car has the 260mm discs fitted , I just had a look in one of my books and its showing the later sport to be having 294mm discs , I would have to check that out as I think it might be wrong.
If you wanted to upgrade , and as long as you have wheel clearance , then any of the turbo brakes will fit striaght onto the front of your car

Hope this helps

Cheers Ian

Greens are supposed to be "equivalent to original" on the the sport not for endurance, the MY98 could either have 260 or 294mm discs, but i guess if you only have two pot calipers then you have the smaller ones.

The MY98 sport had 260mm discs on but with only 1 pot front calipers , its actualy an upgrade to fit the early turbo 277mm and 2 pots

If you have the right size wheels on a sport , you can fit any of the kit suitable for the turbo models
Cheers Ian
