Default New disks for 4 pots

I`ll be needing to replace the front disks in the near future and was wondering which disks people reccomend. The car is an Sti 3 and is running the standard Subaru 4 pot calipers with iirc 295mm disks at the moment

Thanks in advance

just get good quality standard discs, no need for drilled or grooved unless you are kaning it all time on a track. i just replaced my standard discs and pads on four pots for ferrodo 2500 pads and standard discs which have been grooved by Goodspeed motorsport, i also had goodridge braided brake lines and dot 5.1 fluid done at same time. the brakes are more sharper with more initial bite and i have a bit more confidence i them, but they are in no way transformed. go for Godspeed larger disc assembly if you want to transform the front brakes.

I have a MY99 and have fitted Black Diamond cross drilled and grooved discs. In my opinion they are much better than the originals, no fade at all. As you have similar ones on your car at the moment you will be aware they can be a little noisy. I fitted these in anticipation of things to come

Jim,i think that seller is levo21.

I have just fitted some of his grooved fronts £65 with mintex extreme pads £25 and goodridge lines £55 and had my first trackday at donno today with them and did 6 30 mins session and turned the discs blue and never had any fade at all and i was coming up to the chicane at 110 plus and leaving it very late on the brakes and not once did they fade.

Bedded them in last week and they are so much better then the standard crap that i have had on the car for 8 years just in general road use,no heavy braking as i tend to throttle off on the road than brake and they are fine from cold.

Have been using Graham Goode discs off ebay for ages. Good quality, never warped and cheap as chips

eBay UK Shop - Graham Goode Racing GGR: Subaru Impreza WRX STI, Meguiars Autoglym, EBC brakes greenstuff

doesn't seem to have any 295mm discs at the moment, but they'll be back up in a day or two.
