Default Tarox Discs

What do you guys rekon on the tarox discs. I have some fitted to the wrx i have just picked up and the brakes seem really poor.

Guess it depends on 2 things - the brakes you are used to & what pads are fitted?

I had Tarrox discs on a previous classic wrx with Pagid pads & found the set up pretty good as comparison to standard.

Had them on the Forester with DS2500's. Stopped very well but noisy.

Have you bedded the Tar-Ox Pads in yet? They usually require a few hard stops to cure the pads. The bedding in instructions should have been supplied to you.

First time I used Tar-Ox (long time ago, Fiat Uno!) I thought they were rubbish in comparison to Mintex 171's. But after a few 80-->20mph stops back to back they were fantastic.
