Anyone used Avon ZV1's

Mate of mine has a set of zv1's 205/55/15vr's which he's willing to let me have at a suitable price. I have good potenza s02's on the car atm.
Is it worth putting the avon's in the attic, or are they desparate?
Thanks,
Mark.

Can't comment specifically on the ZV1's, but they are the lower performance version of the ZZ1 (Avon's poor attempt at a high performance tyre). As such, the ZV1's should probably be used as landfill rather than than go anywhere near your Scoob. The ZZ1's are universally acknowledges as being pi$$ poor tyres.

Second that - the ZZ1's are dangerous on a scoob - I know, I've used em and my back end used to step out stupidly easily.
Must therefore conclude that the ZV1's (haven't seen these) are no better.
