Cool

What pressures are you all running on for 205 50 16's?

The F1's are fantastic, no tramlining now,

BTW 4 tyres fitted & ballanced £370. National Tyres @ Maidstone - nice blokes, good service.

Cheers.

I wanted to know this as well. General opinion seems to be 32 front, 30 rear.

ScoobyRaz

Cheers for the info. I will give that a try. I'm running 31 all round at present, but it's nice to get it right.

You don't find the ride is a bit harsh at those pressures? When I tried even slightly firmer tyres I found it made everything in the car rattle around.

No mate - I find it absolutely fine, but I've also got Eibachs on the car which makes the ride a bit firmer anyway

You can always try it and if you don't like it - let the air out

Question

Another question ScoobyJawa

Do the tyres wear evenly at the these pressures?

Rich,

Although tyre pressure effects wear the geom of the car will make a bigger difference I think. Under or over inflated means that they will either wear on the edges or middle respectively but uneven wear across the tread i.e worn on the inside but not the outside is more down to the geometry/tracking. I have not noticed any extra wear as a result of tyre pressure on the sort of wear I would expect due to my geom set up.

Lots of waffle - hope that made sense?

Cheers
Neil.
