Some b&stards put two nails in one of my tyres at the weekend, so I am wondering whether its really necessary to get two new front ones. I know people always say to keep them equal tread etc. but the other one really isn't too warn, can I get away ok just getting the one new tyre or will this cause issues with the differential (as i've heard) ?

If the nails are away from the edge then just get the holes capped, cost alot cheaper

They were pretty close to the edge so I have bought a new tyre. On looking at the new tyre I'v decided to get the rest changed soon too, hadn't quite realised just how warn they were in comparison!
