eagle F1 's
Hi,
Anyone use Goodyear eagle f1 asymetrics?
Think they are about 120 a corner for 18's.
Im after something which works well on the road, and will also work on the track and in the wet.
R888's to hardcore.
Any particular things i should be looking out for, or is eagle f1 asymmetric all the same?
I have eagly f1's with a v shaped grove on my focus, however thats for road use only. Much a difference between the asyms and normal f1's?

asyms or normal ones?
Im really after soemthing which can cope with road and track use. including wet. Im not after setting blistering laptimes, but dont want piece of **** where the sidewall gets destroyed or they go off after two laps.
Untill i can get another set of rims ill need multifunctional tyres.
Are the f1 asymetrics the best bet?

F1s definately the best fast road tyre.
Really good in the wet and progressive break away
Toyos get a good review sometimes - bridgestones - verdeseens ect each to their own fair enough.
But many over the years on here have sworn by F1s for the road.
However I have heard that thet really dont last long on the track.
At bruntingthorpe I knackered them very quickly.
A year or two back they did have sidewall issues.
So for the road - a no brainer
Road and Track.....others may have a better compromise solution.

Ok,
so any particular tyre for a bit of both?
If it performs on the track and just wares quickly i might still go for it.
I do intend on buying some 17's18's with a road/track tyre. And then putting some r888's or something similar on my 16's
Just want something im not scared to drive on the road with when conditions are like current.
I think ill try f1 asymmetric's.

decision made then.
I think im going to go for 2 asyms on the front 16's for my next track event whilst i save up for some 17/18's with more rubber and then i can go for r888's also.
Just need to really replace my front two tyres at the moment whilst i get saving.
Might do the rear whilst im at it.
