I'm looking to upgrade my OEM Brembos ASAP and was wondering what you think of the following please
What should I go for ![Ponder2](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/ponder2.gif)
Keep Brembos and go for Performance Friction setup- £599
K Sport 330mm 8 Pots- £999
AP 6 Pots with DS2500 Pads- £1250
I'm after a fast road useage with the odd trackday and return trip to Nurburgring so a good allrounder would be nice

Hi Merv,
I can say with confidence that the quality of components with the Performance Friction kits is second to none (yes, even the APs).
If you see these things side by side you soon see why PF command the money they do. Patented floating disc/bell arrangement and curved vane discs.
The PF compound that comes with the kit as standard is also great for road driving and the occasional track day. Great lifespan from both the discs and pads.
The Brembos with the PF kit work great both on the road and on the track.
With a proper AP 6 pot kit the brakes are very good but you'll need to spend a fair bit more than that. Even then the PF discs/bells are of a better quality than the APs. You won't get a genuine AP setup for £1250
Here is a comprehensive review on the PF kit: https://www.scoobynet.com/wheels-tyr...es-up-job.html
