Incorrect EBC Brake Pad for AP Caliper

Default Incorrect EBC Brake Pad for AP Caliper

Ive just ordered a set of EBC Yellowstuff Brake Pads for my AP Calipers

Part number DP4042 but as you can see from the attached picture they over hang ???

The Caliper i have is a CP7040

Just wondering if anyone has had problems before

From the measurements from this link there defo longer in height

the AP one is spcially scalloped by Ferodo to fit............to my knowledge no-one other than Ferodo currently do this.............

No this is one of my kits , that uses the full size pad , I think it is the EBC pad that is incorrect , as discussed , ring me in the morning and i'll compare the sizes against the Ferodo ones I have.

Just a warning i had yellow stuff fitted to my ap 6 pot set up and they were truly awfull. If it not to late send them back and get something of a better quality.

Totally agree, you have excellent brakes why fit sh**e pads?

As above, i used EBC pads, only the once as the friction material became unbonded from the metal backing on 2 pads, this was on a GP N IMPREZA on a tarmac rally, it certainly grabbed my attention.

Have you tried performance friction I know they have 2 radial depth pads for the AP 4 pot caliper!

Just to update this thread , I spoke to Naff last week and swapped pad sizes over the phone with his EBC and the Ferodo's I have , it seems that the EBC are the wrong size.
