Exclamation IMPORTANT!!! CLASSIC SCOOBY 4 POT CALIPERS

if you have a classic scooby and your calipers are rusted and seized and you want to keep the classic look i have the answer!!. if you`v rang subaru and had the heart attack inducing quote of £400-£500 each!! like me you might get desperate like i did and look at buying expensive upgrades when you might not want too,and with money being tight for most of us this is not always an option but for £180 you can have your clissic calipers back like new.contact your local davmac parts supplier and they will send your knackered calipers away and refurbish them and believe me when you get them back you wont recognise them. they sand plast them clean replace seals pistons and bleed nipples and give them a coat of protective paint (silver) i was shocked they look like new and all for £90 inc vat. im goin to post a couple of pics for you to see.buy the way ive painted them red and done the lettering not davmac. hope this is of some use to somone any questions please ask.

Yes we offer the same service , have done for years , but we use stainless steel pistons that will never rust , and we can also offer them on an exchange basis so you dont have to have your car off the road.
Cheers Ian

So as the OP said at 90 quid a pair thats a good cheap way to overhaul a set of 4 pots, half the price of yours in all fairness Ian.

Ian does them for £175 exchange per pair, the original op said they do them £180 per pair, by my reckoning Ian is cheaper (and its a quicker service)

I am looking into doing my 4 pots. I have the paint etc, but if it would be easier for me to send away for a revamp, and get them sprayed the colour i want would be great. Ian would you do mine red if i wanted to?

Hi
Yes we can recondition calipers any colour you want , er plain colour that is before some smart ars£ wants pink with blue spots

If you wanted to do them yourself , I can supply you a set of stainless steel pistons and 2 seal kits for £130 .

If we do them they will look like brand new once done

Cheers Ian

Check out my thread in the brake section on fitting the godspeed kit. I had refurbed calipers from Ian and large discs, the kit is bang on and turn around time good also. Plus Ian is a good chap
