ABS light staying on.....

ABS light staying on.....
On the Mrs' Fiesta ST.
Not sure exactly when it came on but we've just had a lot of trouble getting the car up a hill near our house - had to basically wheel spin it 50 yds through the snow
Any ideas why the light may have come on and stayed on?
Going to try and get it into a Ford Stealer tomorrow but want to have an idea of what it could be so as not to be potentially stung!

Sounds like one of the wheel sensors. Check wiring and pull out and inspect/clean. Something could have got damaged with all the wheel spinning and salt/snow.

Yeah,thought it may be one of the sensors got covered in snow. Drove it about a half a mile this morning and the light went out so may confirm that.
Will wait and see what happens but looks like it should be ok.
