Default Removing locking nut

I've got a set of standard wheels on the car at the moment and looking to replace them with some Inovits. Problem I have is I dont have the adaptor to remove the locking wheel nut as it wasn't included with the car and previous owner doesn't know what he did with it tut tut

So I was wondering whats the best method for removing?

Could I just find another person with the standard wheels on the car and use their adaptor or is each one different?

Or do I just have to put a socket over it and hammer it to break it off?

Bizzarely you can walk into halfrauds and buy a locking wheel nut removal kit. They are about £20 IIRC.
