Default spigot rings

i had my wheels refurbed today and the guy said i need spigot rings for where the wheels meet the hub but i have had the wheels on the car for like 3 years without any probs. Do i really need them?

I would double check your bore/hub sizes with a vernier caliper if they are incorrect, wheel bore larger than your hub you need spigots.
Your wheel should be centered by the hub & carry the vehicle weight not the studs.
Studs are their to clamp the wheel to the hub only, if the sizes are incorrect i would strongly suggest you change studs if you have been running this like that for a period of time, as the studs have been doing a job there not designed to.

what do u mean by change the studs (the car is a 2002 wrx with 18" pff7 replicas)

Change the studs for new ownley if your hub/ wheel measurements were incorrect as the studs have been under stress & likely to fail.
