Anyone got any pointers they would care to share on which wheel and tyre set up work well on track for the 08/09 STi?

I will run two sets of wheels and tyres (one for the road and the other for the track).

The car currently sits on 17s which could become the track wheels as I'm think it is a looking a little "under wheeled".

I've previously run Toyo R888s as track tyres, but that was on a modded Cooper S. I do trog around the Ring occasionally, so ideally my track tyres need to be road legal.

depending what size wheels you want.....you get go w/ 18x9.5 +45 running 275 and just roll your arches.....all depends on what wheels and tyre setup you want.....

Not looking to go too extreme - rolling the arches is probably a bit too 'core' for me at this stage.

Am really wondering if 235s on 17s will do what I need if I run 888s? The alternative is to go for 18s and 245s, again with a track orientated tyre.
