Default Total novice. Question on my tyres and wheels?

Hi, I have just bought a beautiful 2003 Blobeye Impreza WRX. The car came with 18" Inovit Redline wheels and a set of Avon ZZ3 tyres. The size is 215/35Z/R18. I take it these are low profile and to be honest, I don't really like the look of them. Is it possible to get them changed to none low profile tyres? If yes, whats the normal standard Subaru size or am I stuck with this size tyre with these wheels?

Never really done anything about changing tyres and wheels so its all a bit double dutch to me.

215/35/18 is the correct size for a Classic. Your Blob should have 225/40/18. The standard tyre size was 215/45/17. If you change from the above you will affect the rolling radius of your wheels. This will result in inaccurate speedometer. If you change to the correct tyre ie 225/40/18, you should be fine.
