Default Quick tyres question

I have all 4 tyres to replace on my Hawkeye WRX. Fronts due to wear. Rears due to a nail in one!

I have Eagle F1s on the front and happy with them, Fuldas on the back, hard-wearing but not so sure.

Since the tyres went on I have decatted, fitted induction kit, remapped, fitted alk, front and rear arbs and HSD coilovers, so the car is fundamentally different. Only finished the final bit, the wheel alignment, last week so haven't really had time to assess the tyres at all.

I want to get tyres on Monday as I have to run the car all week. Not great on a skinny spacesaver.

I'm thinking F1s, Vredestein or Toyo, but they need to wear well!

Any advice with my set up would be very MUCH appreciated!

Thanks.

Ok,

Let's put it another way.

If I fit 225/45 Vredesteins on my standard 215 WRX rims, am I lilely to see any issues given what I have done with the car...

Cheers,

Matt

My pal "KojaK" fitted 225's to his WRX and reckons it has greater wet weather grip...

No issues.

P.S. Earlier cars benefit from an uprated rear ARB, the adjustable Whiteline bar on mine is the best value mod. on my car....

I agree. I put a 22 on the front, 24 on the back and the difference is huge.

Cheers.

Just as an update, I've gone for 225/45/17 Vredesteins and we'll see how we get on.
