Hi
It depends on how much performance you want out of your braking system , and to be honest , the discs we can supply you wouldn't be that much more than a standard disc , a grooved disc will offer more bite , will dispurse the gas build up given off the pads when driving hard , and will also deglaze the pads if they glaze over while again driving hard , so for the small amount of cost difference , a grooved disc would be better.
Pad wise , if your looking for the first step up from standard , then the kevlar pads are very good , they are good from cold , are quiet in use , but will withstand more heat when driving harder , they wouldn't be suitable for track days but then there are different pads available for that
The package deal we are offering with our grooved discs and kevlar pads for £99 is a very good option for the use your looking for , its a very popular choice of the members on here.
If you want any further advise , feel free to ask , either email PM or phone
Cheers Ian
