I recently bought Technomagnesio 17" wheels with 215/45 17 tyres.
My problem is that the rear tyres keep touching the inside of the rear fender on uneven roads. Does anybody have an idea on what I can do to make that stop happening.

If you have a 'classic' shape car change your tyres to 215/40/17 that should stop rubbing issues

This is usualy caused by using too low an off-set - sometimes 48mm is okay, but 50-53mm is optimum. Or it could be your tyres, as some are significantly wider than others (the marked sizes are only approximate). Also, if your's is a Classic car, your tyres are too big in height - not usually a problem but won't help. 215/40x17 is the correct size. Also, your speedo will be fractionally out, of course.

What off-set are those wheels? It's stamped on to the back of the spokes as "ET??"

Cheers,

Richard.
