If I were you, I'd go for Goodyear F1 Assyms.
Are you sure PS2s are still available? - I thought they were superseded by the PS3.
ps you ever drink in La Mort Subite?

I run Dunlop SP Sport Maxx and they are MINT!!! I have read other write ups about them not being good in rain??? what a load of *^%* I know how much pain I give mine & I am surprised I do not see more peeps rexcommending em!!
Once or twice a month I go out and do about 130 miles on a Sunday morning and they have unbelievable amounts of grip, I am running 225 45 17s, like any tyre they need a little warming up first and sensible tyre pressures.
FR > 31.5 psi
RR > 29.5 psi (fast road)
FR > 33 psi
RR ? 30 psi (day to day)
Lee.

Fair enough fella, I have to say that I am surprised about the conflicting views on all tyres, I had 235 35 19s Toyo T1R & S on my 03 JDM STi and I thought they were cack, yet a few rate em?
Makes me think its the cars rather than the tyres performing well? I have an 06 STI Spec C and this thing grips beyond belief, maybe its the car rather than the tyre? I have not tried any other tyre on this car because these work so well...... if it aint broke........and all that
Good luck

I had the Conti Sports on mine until a couple of months ago and found them very good, I changed to Vredstein as lots of people seem to rate them. So far I have found the grip very similar but the Vredstein are definately quieter.

thanks mate, but a stupid question, do feel them different when you fast drive it? i mean i've been told he can overheat and loose grip properties so your opinion is good value

my last comment....... all tyres are a compromise (some are better at it than others) but you will not get a tyre working great in the wet (cold) conditions which also is the dogs in the dry (hot) most normal road tyres are better at coping with these extremes because thats what there designed to do, but you will not get a (e.g.) Toyo R888 being the dogs on track which will then perform on the roads in wet cold conditions as good as a say Sport Maxx.
You/we need to work out what we want from our cars and then make our choice, personally I find my "car" has loads of dry grip because of the type of car it is, I get a proper buzz out of going completely daft in the rain (terrential please) so I go for middle of the road choice rather than a "track day" option.
