Question Classic Impreza Turbo - Brake fluid type ?

Hi guys

Changing the front brakes on my car this weekend, and can't find any information anywhere to tell me if it's synthetic or mineral brake fluid I need !

The car has retro-fitted Brembo 4-pots on the front, and standard setup on the rear.

Can anyone enlighten me please !?

Thanks !

Synthetic.

Buy something that suits your needs. I've always run Motul RBF600 on mine.

1 Litre is usually enough for a complete change.

Well worth fitting braided lines too while your at it, helps firm up the pedal nicely. http://www.superhids.co.uk/h-e-l-bra...-set-of-4.html

No issues with std dot 4 here, even on track.

you can use a decent quality dot4, dot5.1, etc.............

do NOT purchase dot5 as this bears no relation to std road/race fluids and has a specific military application mainly...........
