I have a new pump and ECU to fit, and I cant see how you wont need to bleed them, but was going to do it the normal way.
Two tips-
- put clingfilm over the reservoir, and then screw the cap back on. The clingfilm will help create a seal in the resrvoir, and limit the flid coming out.
- If you have Brembos I did a post ages ago on the best way to bleed- I am going to find it in a minute, but try a search- some really good responses.

That is the miilion dollar question. I have a 98 UK car, and cant find it, and hav been told in some cases they are integrated into the pump, which would be sensible, but should normally be
under either seat,
drivers side dash, under the steering column
in the centre console (remove it and have a look- my airbag ECU was under the stereo),
under the main ECU (unlikely, but one persons was)
I have put them in order of probability. If it makes you feel better, I had to remove my roll cage to remove the dash, spent 3 hours doing all that, and it wasnt there! Hope that helps.
Another tip- get a couple of jars, or an ice cream container, to leave the brake pipes dangling in when you remove the ABS unit.
