Default 18" Alloys On Blobeye

What is the best width and offset to use?

My current ones are 7.5" wide with a 48 offset, but don't seem to sit 'right' (seem too far in)

you want to be hellaflush?! or just a slightly more filled arch?

Although 17's, my Works used to sit pretty well in the arches, until i added some camber.

They were 17x8 with a 47 offset.

Tho i am just about to buy some 17x9 with ET40, as i, like you, want a 'full' looking arch!

So in answer to your question, defo a wider wheel, and a lower ET should sort you out.

Any pics of the current setup?

Will try to get some pics....

I don't want them too wide (ie sticking out the arches), just something to fill the arches better

My 18 x 7.5's sit totally flush running 225 40 18's. Offset is around 32-34 though as they also fit some vws. My only negative point is that they arnt concave enough, offset and concaved spokes from outer edge to inner join look great.

and before and after with standard rims for reference, look at how the arch is filled out to the plastic guard up from the skirt. I hated the sight of the standard rims as they looked totally lost in the arches, even with a 30mm drop on eibachs.

I think 9's will be too close to the strut for comfort.

18x8 ET48 is pretty widely used, use 235/40/18 for tyres. Dunx

Was for a week, now it's a tractor again... Even a slitting disc and plenty of -ve camber wasn't enough, had to go up 15mm

LOL
