Default Touring car slicks

Anyone on here used them?

Interested in what feedback you have.

I have been using 888's but find they go off pretty quick.

I know a couple of lads used to use them a few years ago for trackdays (Dunlop's IIRC). Once warm they were awesome and lasted for several different days. I don't think they were badly priced either.

Is the car caged? Some TDOs require a cage for full slicks.

You notice much extra grip over something like an R888... or should I say how much extra grip did you notice?

Hi mate, I'm going onto slicks next year. I do hill climbing and have been researching for a while now. People say around the paddock that slicks are about 2 - 4 secs quicker over a mile if you can find the grip, i have been told that slicks grip and grip then they let go, where as say v70a's move around more. My feelings are if you have mechanical sympathy on a track day, your car should be fine. But if you get up against the clock, doing hard launches, and aggressive driving, your car will suffer. I'm sure we'll both have a great experience when we try them. Shonner.
