Don't spend stupid money on them. if you have a good set of front pads then you can get away with a standard set on back. i'd go for a set of Ferodo DS2500s which will set you back £74 from scoobyworld.

have these on the front, amazing improvement over the crap i had on before.

sorry to burst your bubble but you cant have ds2500 for a Bremboo equipped STi at £74......what you most likely have is ferodo DSPF which is a mild fast road pad and often mis-sold/described as ds2500...........

far different materials!!

as for the rear pads personally i always advise you fit as near matching compounds front and rear as this gives a better o/all balance under harsh braking

I did think they seemed a little cheap because I paid about £220 delivered for my fronts. The fronts are FRP3067 in material H which according to this are DS2500.

I havent ordered any of the rears yet but they looked genuine enough. A couple of places sell them for between £74-77 with the product code FCP1562H which according to Ferodo are a Brembo fitment in DS2500 material. Unless they have listed the product code incorrectly I cannot imagine that they'd get away with miss selling them.

H suffix is DS2500. R suffix is DS3000.

It depends on what you'll be running upfront? Best to have the same or similar compound all around.

I`ve got Performance Friction on the front. Didn`t think I`d need anything special on the back with it only doing a small percentage of the braking

its a common fallacy that the rears dont contribute very much BUT on a 4wd or RWD car then they factor far higher............

no worries. just realised it was you i got the ds2500s from although the slightly inflated price did include saturday morning delivery after I ordered them late friday afternoon.

the thing about running standard pads on the back was something someone told me but I stand corrected. at only £74 for a set of rear ds2500s i'd get them anyway. the fronts have been amazing and i've definitely pushed them.
