Ever wished you didnt do a Modification ?!?
Huf, i do LOL
On my classic i carried out the 2 pot rear caliper conversion.
wish i hadnt bothered, been nothing but a pain.
1st off,i bought the kit off a Type R LOL,which had the bigger handbrake drum on the disc,so had to buy new discs
2nd off, the pads i used were cack so had to buy new ones,i bought front and rears to get the car all balanced etc braking wise
3rd off, and my main ut oh, is,on fitting the front 4 pot pads, i pushed back the pots, with ease,as they are refurbed calipers with S/S pots/new seals etc, they went back easily but brake fluid started coming out of one of the pots, from behind the dust seal, great i thought so i wiped this away and fitted the pads to the is side caliper,no more fluid (only if the dust seal was squeezed etc)
then,on the other side, when i pushed back the 4 pots, all 4 had fluid seep out of the dust seal,**** i thought, again, celaned all this up and no more fluid seaping out.
Fitted pads, pumped pedal,no leaking fluid all good
checked this morning, slight seep again at base of calipers both sides, not a running leak, once wiped up,stays dry.
Now,.im hoping this is just residual fluid still behind the dust seal thats worked out from using the brakes, but that isnt normal is it ?????????
never had it on any other calipers bike or car.
So,if i hadnt bothered with the 2 pot upgrade, none of this would be bugging me
Rant over,if it aint broke, dont fix it (or break it some more)

YES! In answer to your post topic.
I spent £1400 on StopTech front brakes. £200 later on to stop them clicking. £150 after that to stop them clicking. The red brake caliper coating came off so they looked like ****. Not covered under any warranty either. BUT, f00k did they stop the car once I got the pads right and warmed up. I decided I had had enough and put them in the garage to rust! HOWEVER, now I have front and rear EBC discs and pads matched I can understand the need to better match front and rear brakes. My car does not have the braking it had before, but now the rear end does not try to overtake the front on heavy braking! LOL.
My only wish is that I did not let the **** at TSL talk me out of AP's which they did and fit the StopTech. I would still have them on but for that.
Complete w4nk piece of kit on my car anyway.
...............and relax! LOL. Thanks for allowing me to vent again..........
