Hi
I'm going to be needing brakes pretty shortly, I also need them to be able to handle trackday abuse as I'm hoping to get more done this year
I have a V3 type R, I know I could go for the newage brembos but unsure if they'll clear my alloys and I have a spare set of wheels in 16'' aswell so know thered be no chance of them clearing these
Can I have a good setup with this size or have I GOT to go bigger ?
heres the wheels they need to clear

Any help/prices from the brake people appreciated
Thanks
edit: Also been offered these its not the end of the world if I have to punt my 16'' wheels and I suposse I could sell my calipers to get some money back

If still running 16's then can't go bigger than what you have. The 4 pots are good brakes so go for upgraded discs, pads, fluid and s/s hoses. That should give you a decent set up.

there is also the possibility of fitting a brake stopper - see the traders area for a thread from Tegiwa. Cost 30 quid and is aparently a good upgrade. I also have a 97 type r and mine has one on. I also asked the same question a few months back and got good answers from Ian on a thread in this section.
