Legacy GTB - can anything be done about the steering?
I've been driving a Legacy Turbo (quad-cam) for 15 years, and I think it's time to move on (had a few bills, and looks like more to come).
I've test-driven a couple of GTB's - lovely, crazy-fast car, *except*: what happened to the steering feel? It's so light, it's like driving some Yank barge.
Thruppeny-bitting round a roundabout is not my idea of fun. My old Scooby has such nicely-weighted steering. Do all the Japanese imports have this over-powered steering problem? Do I really have to switch to an Imprezza to get decent steering feel?

I found the same thing, been told that it's the way they are, stearing pump is quite light, especially on tick over. Others with far more tech knowledge will know more than i though!

I only had a quick look at the post on uklegacy as I've got quite used to the light steering on my B4 now. But something was mentioned about a box under the dash that gets confused when a kmh-mph chip is installed. Basically unplug the box and the steerings set to default.
