Default Best pads for road use hawkeye STI type uk standard wheels and disks

Hi
I've searched a bit on this but can't find definitive answers. From what I can tell Ferodo ds2500 are the most recommended for road use and are good when cold. How much would a set of pads for all four wheels set me back? I have read EBD are supposed to be good but also a few bad stories. Generally ds2500 seem to be better but only from what I have read. Are there any other makes to consider which are better than ferodo ds2500? I need something which is for road use but provide better stopping power than the standard pads. I have standard STI 17" wheels and standard disks and brembos.
Thanks for any help.

If you take either DS2500 or NDX you wont choose wrong pads

Ive had the ds2500s in the past and they are very good.
Just ordered the ndxs all round. - These are slightly cheaper and most people are saying good things about them.

These work well for normal to fast road use: http://www.superhids.co.uk/brakes/br...ront-set-.html
