Hi all, i have Prodrive P-WRC1 18" wheels on my rb5, i was wandering what tyre size can fit on them
they currently have 225/35/18 on all four corners, are these correct? can other sizes fit?
i only ask as ive noticed 225/40/18 tyres seem to be alot cheaper and was wandering will i be paying extra because the car has been lowered in the past, its currently on standard suspension
reason i really wanted to know is obviously if i can get a cheaper size that doesn't effect handling then i could get better tyres for my money
cheers

Hi Moz
I would stick with the 225/35/18s on your RB5. If you go to 225/40/18 the rolling circumference is bigger than the 35s so could catch the arches and they will knock the speedo out a touch too.
Generally speaking 225/35/18s are more expensive than the 40s but another size you could go for which is more popular nowadays on the Classics is a 215/35/18. These will be fine presuming your wheels are the 7.5x18" version of the P-WRC1.
Give me a shout for tyre prices.
Thanks

correct size is defintely 225/35/18
You pay a premium as it's a less common size.
I've got a P1 with the 18's on and 215's are ok as I've had them on in the past but are a little stretched.
Gook luck!
