I've just done my fronts, and had Ian's grooved discs and Orangestuff pads. It's an amazing setup for the cost!

Go for it you won't be disappointed

try aztec performance, they too are doing a good deal. I bought disks (OEM) and pads (blue fast road pads) all round for £189 plus, fluid, HEL lines, anti squeal pads for a little over £300 all in.

Like yourself I looked around and even Godspeed were quite competitive but choice is yours.

Bob at Aztec sorted me out some PF drilled discs, EBC Bluestuff pads and Braided Lines for my 06 STI and I havent looked back. They have been excellent. Good bite when cold and superb when hot, not dusty and no nast squeaks etc. Found them very reasonable too.

PF don't make drilled discs , have you been sold them as PF ones ?
How long ago did you buy them off Bob ?

I can confirm Performance Friction have never manufactured cross drilled discs due to the increased susceptibility to disc cracking that this creates.

Luckyscoob probably means dimpled discs.

Glad you're getting on well with them.

Well worth spending the money on quality discs and pads, works out cheaper in the long run IMHO.

Another vote here for Godspeed brakes - I popped in to see Ian yesterday and picked up a set of rotors and the first set of EBC Orangestuff pads made for AP CP7040 6 pot calipers.

LOL, I do indeed!. I would recommend them to anyone as an all rounder. Great on track and you dont suffer for it on the road.
