oversize handbrake shoes
HI ALL.
RIGHT THEN LETS SEE WHO CAN GIVE ME THE CORRECT ANSWER TO THIS,
MY wife runs a 2002 wrx bugeye, with ksport brakes all round, 8pot front. rear brake set up is 6 pot ksport with the oversize shoes due to them coming off a sti, (bigger hubs)
i am forever adjusting the handbrake cause it wont last / hold car on any sort of incline,
i bought the oversize shoes off ebay, as only these people and godspeed was selling them at time, i now have found scoobyworx do them, but are out of stock as we speak, they only have done about 1000 miles, so they are bedded in before anyone ask's. i need to sort this out,as i it doing my head in
any info advise would help.
please no stupid answer's
cheers scoobymike

I think it was you I spoke to the other day ??
It was my idea to fit the thicker handbrake shoes , others are copying them , but the guy on ebay is using a much softer material so the shoes aren't lasting , which is why your forever having to adjust them up.
The only way around it is to fit better quality material in the shoes
Cheers Ian
